Medieval France Mapping Project

I have started mapping all of France using hexographer, mostly because I think it would be fun - and perhaps to use it in a future game. Regardless, I have so far completed about 30 or so maps of what will eventually require a few hundred - I know, that is crazy.

Here is a map with the grid I am using, the slashes represent maps that are already completed, I have saved them as hxm files and png so I can print them easily, then I will trim them to match borders and tack them to my basement (game) room wall.

I have not placed any towns, castles, cities, or villages on any of these maps, they are pure landscapes currently (and probably not very accurate other than coast lines). But they are useful for gaming purposes.

Once I get them finished, I plan to share these with the community.

Map of Normandie (My faux Normandy of the mid 1200's)

I have assembled my hexographer maps of Normandie for my online jousting / OD&D campaign, I think it came out really nice.

The Jousting Fields of Normandie are now open...

I have created a G+ community page for my next round of play-by-post jousts, and it is set in my Blessed Realms of Normandie campaign again. However, this time, the jousts are not FlailSnails compatible, only newly created Knights will be allowed to join.

The community is private and by invite only, so if you are on G+ and have not received an invite, respond to this thread with your G+ ID and I will send one out to you asap.

The rules for jousting can be found here and in my side-bar. They have been update to reflect my house rules for the Normandie campaign which I also plan to start running soon.

Vikings in Swords & Wizardry

I am working on some rules for a Viking game I plan to run on G+ in the very near future. The setting is called (currently) "After Ragnarok", set in a future/past earth - so I can trip around 1000 AD Europe without worrying about historical accuracy, it is anything goes really.

Here are the current rules for character creation for your viewing pleasure. You can also find them in my download links.
